Have you ever noticed that people with animals in there lap have a tendency to carry on a conversation with a complete stranger. Where as if you where with the same person in a human doctors office they probably would not give you the time of day.
The American Kennel Club is the only purebred dog registry which mandates both registration as well as care and condition quality control standards enforced through ongoing rigorous inspections of the A.K.C. Breeders. An American Kennel Club representative recently visited us here at Mystic Mountain Kennels he inspected our kennels along with our puppy nursery and could not find anything wrong with our breeding program. He passed us with flying colors, we take pride in our kennels and knew it was not going to be a problem, but it sure was nice to get a pat on the back from the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB With the coming of the new year I
am very pleased to announce that Tennessee has finally passed new breeder laws
to help protect dogs and cats for the horror of living in puppy mills. This
however is only our first step people must report what they see to the Tennessee
Department of Health. Please if you suspect a puppy mill make the call. If
people continue to buy from puppy mills then they stay in business, don't feel
sorry for the puppy and purchase the puppy thinking you are doing a good thing
by saving it from those awful people. In reality if you purchase from a puppy
mill you get them to breed more and the cruelty cycle continues. You may save
one puppy but remember all those you leave behind. Do the right thing do not
purchase and make the call. TENNESSEE HAS ENACTED NEW LAWS TO PROTECT DOGS AND CATS FROM ANIMAL HORDING AND PUPPY MILLS. ANYONE POSSESSING MORE THAN 20 INTACT BREEDING FEMALES MUST BE LICENSED AND INSPECTED BY THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. THESE LICENCES MUST BE POSTED FOR THE PUBLIC TO SEE ALSO ALL LICENSE NUMBERS MUST BE ON ALL ADVERTISEMENTS WEATHER ON THE INTERNET, IN THE NEWSPAPER, ON BUSINESS CARDS ECT....
