Mystic Mountain Kennels is one of the most respected and reputable Yorkshire Terrier / Shih Tzu breeders in East Tennessee. We are located 30 minutes north of Knoxville, TN. In rural Lafollette, TN not to far from Clinton, Oak Ridge and Caryville near the Kentucky line.

We made the decision early on that this endeavor would be both challenging and rewarding but would allow us the freedom to enjoy our animals while continuing to learn about the breed. We are strictly a hands-on owner/breeder. That will be evident in the way our dogs interact with people.

We are a small, family based kennel located on a 4 acre mini-farm

in rural,
eastern Tennessee. Our children are now grown-up and have left the house to start lives of their own. Their absence has allowed sometime for new hobbies and special interests....specifically, dogs! We take pride in breeding and raising beautiful top quality AKC registered Yorkshire Terriers Puppies along with exquisite Imperial AKC registered Shih Tzu puppies.

Our puppies are born and raised in our home our adult dogs are rotated in and out from the kennel to the house as needed. All puppies are well socialized by our entire family which includes our grandchildren. Our kennels are heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer. We love each and everyone of our dogs and provide them with all the comforts they deserve. Each puppy comes with a 1 year health guarantee, AKC registration papers, a puppy care package, micro chipped, started on potty training & love. They are current on vaccinations, wormed, tail docked to AKC standards, dew claws removed and have been given the best of veterinary care. All puppies are sold with limited registration unless prior agreement has been made. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Shipping is available for an additional charge and under proper conditions. Our adult dogs are current on all vaccination including kennel cough, they have been DNA tested within the guidelines of The American Kennel Club and are seen regularly by a licensed veterinarian.

The terms t-cup, miniature, imperial, tiny, teacup, tea cup etc. are only adjectives describing the size of the yorkies or shih tzu and are not intended to imply that our Terriers and or Shih Tzu's are a new breed.
